This wild blueberry juice is very refreshing using frozen wild blueberries, stevia, and water and of course, it’s delicious.  So you can easily make this juice in less than 5 minutes. How simple is that?

The other very good news is that you do not need a juicer, you can make it in a blender. I make most of my fruit juices in a blender and it is easier.  Also, there is much less clean up to do as a juicer is a big thing to clean.

Wild Blueberry Juice

Wild Blueberry Juice Ingredients

The small wild blueberries are most easily found in the freezer section of most grocery stores. The wild blueberries are the best and I almost always have some in my freezer. Frozen fruitsWild Blueberry Juice and vegetables are just as healthy as fresh and some even retain their nutritional value longer, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.  I usually just use frozen blueberries for this wild blueberry juice so that I can make it year round and not just when wild blueberries are in season.

These wild blueberries have so many health benefits from boosting mood to reducing risk of diabetes to improving memory in older adults to many more. Also, they are full of nutrients. Learn more about this wonderful healthy fruit and why it is good to eat them often. Why Wild Blueberries Are The Best?

Often times people think that drinking juice out of a carton or jar that has not had added sugar is a good idea but it isn’t. Well, it is better than drinking a soft drink or beer but really it is still not very healthy. Also, it has usually been brought to a high temperature to preserve it therefore killing the nutritional value of the fruits. When that is done then many of the nutrients have been destroyed. Fresh is always best.

Wild Blueberry JuiceI don’t use sugar for my recipes. I often use stevia which is the healthy option.  The stevia plant is incredibly sweet and also incredibly good for you.  The leaf is 30 times sweeter than sugar while extracts are 300-400 times sweeter. This is a great way to add healthy sweetness to you  The best stevia will, therefore, be the one that retains some whole food value and is water-based.  Liquid forms will be less processed.  Go here to learn How to Get the Best Stevia Without the Bitterness.  If you like your juice on the sweeter side you can add some stevia to your wild blueberry juice.

Always use good water in a recipe, not just tap water which is full of chemicals. I have always used a good filtration system for my water use in the kitchen.

Use the Best Water to Make Your Wild Blueberry Juice

Reverse Osmosis Water Filter.

When you are making your healthy wild blueberry juice, make sure you are not filling your body with chemicals from unclean water. I know that it was making me ill a long time ago when I used to drink regular water and I have always drank filtered water since.  As it can be expensive to always have to buy water I decided to purchase a filtration system to filter my water at home.  It is an upfront cost but it has saved me lot’s over the years.  Here is the water filter that I am currently using and I am very happy with it. The only way to remove fluoride from your water is to use a reverse osmosis system and some systems are better than others. When I did my research this is the one I decided on.
