Wild Blueberry Juice Is Good For You and Easy To Make

This wild blueberry juice is very refreshing using frozen wild blueberries, stevia, and water and of course, it’s delicious.  So you can easily make this juice in less than 5 minutes. How simple is that?

The other very good news is that you do not need a juicer, you can make it in a blender. I make most of my fruit juices in a blender and it is easier to make.  Also, much less clean up to do as a juicer is a big thing to clean.

Wild Blueberries

The small wild blueberries are most easily found in the freezer section of most grocery stores. The wild blueberries are the best and I almost always have some in my freezer. Frozen fruits and vegetables are just as healthy as fresh and some even retain their nutritional value longer, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

These wild blueberries have so many health benefits from boosting mood to reducing risk of diabetes to improving memory in older adults to many more. Also, they are full of nutrients. Learn more about this wonderful healthy fruit and why it is good to eat them often. Why Wild Blueberries Are The Best?

Often people think that drinking juice out of a carton or jar that has not had added sugar is a good idea but it isn’t. Well, it is better than drinking a soft drink or beer but really it is not so healthy. Also, it has usually been brought to a high temperature to preserve it. When that is done then many of the nutrients have been destroyed. Fresh is always best.

  • 1 cup wild blueberries frozen
  • 1 cup water hot/warm
  • 1/2 tsp liquid stevia optional

  • Put the wild blueberries into a blender jar.
  • Now add the water, it is good to have it a bit hot to help melt the frozen blueberries. If you let the blueberries thaw beforehand then just use room temperature water. Same if you are using fresh blueberries.
  • Add the stevia which is optional if you like this extra sweet.
  • Blend everything on liquefy until juicy.
  • Pour in glasses and serve the wild blueberry juice immediately.

Always use good water, not just tap water which is full of chemicals. I have always used a good filtration system for my water, use in the kitchen.
