A sweet mango banana smoothie for breakfast or a snack is simply delicious. It is a naturally sweet smoothie that is quick and easy to make. Also, it is full of superfood fruits which means you will be getting lots of nutrients from a dessert-like smoothie.
Mangos the King of Fruits taste so good that people forget they are also healthy! Something about mangoes makes them luxurious to add to recipes.
Research has shown the mango fruit helps protect against cancer, and it boosts the immune system while being great for the eyes with the high vitamin A content. It also has high levels of fiber, pectin and vitamin C which helps to lower serum cholesterol levels. They can be used both internally and externally for the skin and also help to alkalize the whole body.
Bananas are healthy for you and that’s a good thing since they are the most popular fruit in North America. Everyone loves bananas. There are more songs, jokes, and silliness with this food than with any other plant on earth. They add a nice silky texture to recipes as well as extra sweetness.
Depending on what I have on hand I use coconut yogurt or almond milk to make this smoothie creamier.
Millions of people are using packaged Almond Milk because they believe it is a ‘healthy milk alternative.’ I make my own almond milk which is easy to do as well as affordable and way better for the environment.
Now let’s whip up this smoothie!
