Lemons’ health benefits are immense. To begin they are acidic to the taste but are alkaline-forming in the body. In fact, they are one of the most alkaline-forming superfoods; this makes them great for balancing a highly acidic condition in the body. Also, they are full of many health benefits. The spark of lemon adds a cooling taste to this sparkling cucumber lemon water.
Cool fresh mint with its stimulating aroma is a popular flavouring for gum, toothpaste, and tea. This superfood is full of many health benefits from helping with digestion to increasing memory. Did you know it helps keep mosquitos away too? I always grow mint in my garden for salads, teas, and smoothies.
Always use good water, not one with chemicals in it. Federal scientists analyzed the water in 25 U.S. water facilities. In nine of the facilities, they found traces of 21 chemicals in the water. Of those 21 there were 18 unregulated chemicals which included solvents, herbicides, caffeine, metal, and antidepressants in the water according to Scientific American.

Here are some more great healthy and tasty beverages to try:
Pomegranate Juice – I love pomegranate juice and decided to make it in a blender rather than a juicer for two reasons. It is easier but mostly because when the seeds are totally broken down in a juicer they add bitterness to the juice. When you use a blender this is avoided.
Fresh Mint Tea – This fresh mint tea is a traditional tea in many desert countries like Morocco, Turkey, and Egypt. They drink this because it is so cooling. Mint is not only cooling, but also energizing, refreshing, and good for digestion. There is nothing quite like a cup of fresh mint tea.
Here is a beverage that is cooling like the ‘Sparkling Cucumber Lemon Water’.
Watermelon Juice Is Delicious On a Hot Day – Watermelon juice is so delicious on a hot summer day. This is a very simple recipe to make and it is much healthier for you than a soft drink and is nice and refreshing.
Basil Tea is helpful for when you have nausea and flatulence. The magic ingredient is basil. Basil has been considered to be ‘The Oldest Herb’. It has been used for health reasons and for its distinct flavour which is delicious. It is one of my favorite herbs to use in my kitchen and I always have some basil on hand.
Dandelion Flower Cordial Is Refreshing and So Good for Us too – This dandelion flower cordial a tasty refreshing beverage on a summer day. It is very easy to make too. What a sweet way to get all the health benefits from dandelions.
Creamy Spicy Vegan Chai is Warming and Delicious – This creamy vegan chai is so delicious. I love being able to drink hot creamy drinks that have no cow’s milk in them and are caffeine-free too. This is a great tea on those cold fall or winter days.
Dandelion Tea – You can easily make a dandelion with dried leaves from the plants which are full of nutrition. Dandelion leaves can be used to treat upset stomach, muscle aches, intestinal gas, constipation, and loss of appetite. Like all dark leafy vegetables, they are strongly alkaline.
Wild Blueberry Juice Is Good For You and Easy To Make – Wild blueberry juice is very refreshing using frozen wild blueberries, stevia, and water and of course, it’s delicious. Besides being refreshing, my wild blueberry juice takes less than 5 minutes to make. How simple is that? The other very good news is that you do not need a juicer, you can make it in a blender. I make most of my fruit juices in a blender and it is easier to make with much less clean up to do as a juicer is a big thing to clean.
