They are good for treating high blood pressure and for weight loss and may help fight cancer and reduce the risk of heart disease.  They are highly alkaline-forming and may help reduce cholesterol and help with diabetes. An important ingredient for this healthy sparkling cucumber lemon water.

In fact, they are one of the most alkaline-forming superfoods; this makes them great for balancing a highly acidic condition in the body. Also, they are full of many health benefits. Cool fresh mint with its stimulating aroma is a popular flavouring for gum, toothpaste, and tea.  This superfood is full of many health benefits from helping with digestion to increasing memory. Sparkling Cucumber Lemon Water

Sparkling lemon water is good for any time as it is alkalizing and healthy. Also, it is a wonderful, refreshing summer drink for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 English cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon or lime
  • 2-3 cups water
  • 1 litre sparkling water
  • Few fresh mint sprigs, stems removed

Instructions

  • Wash the cucumber and lemon or lime and thinly slice them.
  • Place the cucumber and lemon or lime slices in a pitcher, sprigs of mint and add just enough water to cover them
  • Refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight
  • Add sparkling water to taste.
  • Now enjoy your Sparkling Cucumber Lemon Mint Water.

How simple is that? The other very good news is that you do not need a juicer, you can make it in a blender. I make most of my fruit juices in a blender and it is easier to make. Also, much less clean up to do as a juicer is a big thing to clean.
