Spring is one of the best times to detox. We all know about ‘spring cleaning’. Just as our house needs a thorough cleaning of all the corners of our home to freshen it for summer, so does our body.

- Spring brings new growth and regeneration so it is a good time to refresh our systems.
- Waste builds up during the winter so we need to clean out.
- According to the Chinese, spring is the time to cleanse and nourish the liver!

Summer is also a great time to detox because the weather is warm, the days are long, and it is easy to eat the cooling summer foods that are in season.

- We all like to look great in shorts or a bathing suit so there is motivation.
