Quick Quinoa Porridge

This quinoa porridge is a gluten free grain that is actually a seed full of protein and it really is super quick to make.

 

Quinoa Porridge

Ingredients:

1/3 cup quinoa flakes
1 cup water
1 – 2 Tbsp sultanas or raisins
Pinch of Himalayan salt
1 Tbsp virgin coconut oil
1/4 -1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Put quinoa, water, salt and raisins into a small cooking pot with a lid.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Then turn down to low and cook for 5 – 7 minutes.
  4. Make sure it is porridge like.
  5. Serve in bowl with either Tahini Cream Sauce or coconut oil and cinnamon.

I love pecans and that is what for me makes it a deluxe pudding. You can use other nuts if you prefer.
