Soy Sauce Substitute – Soy Free

Many are unable to use soy in anything and I have at times found it does not work for me.  Remember when your systems get stronger then you may find you will be able to again. But for now here is a recipe to make your own homemade soy sauce. I find it quite yummy.

Soya Sauce Substitute

Ingredients:

2 tsp balsamic vinegar
3/4 tsp black strap molasses
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 clove garlic, minces or pinch of garlic powder
1/2 cup water
2 tsp sea salt

Directions:

  1. In a small sauce pan, add garlic and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn heat down and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add vinegar, molasses, and ginger and simmer for a few more minutes.
  4. Stir in salt.
  5. Now strain and put into a jar in the fridge till use.
