This prune jam recipe was so easy to make and healthy without all that sugar usually found in jams. It took me just over an hour which included taking lots of photos of the jam too. Adding the cinnamon made it extra delicious. I did add a little stevia to make it sweeter. This recipe makes two small jars as seen in the photos here.
Put the apples and the water into a saucepan, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered for 10 minutes.
Mash the apples.
Now add the prunes, simmer until prunes are tender and the mixture is a jam consistency, for about 15 minutes.
Pour the jam into jars, cool, and cover with lids.
First, enjoy your homemade jam.
Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
Notes
I use only healthy Ingredients for my jams, find out more:apples, water, prunes, stevia, cinnamonI made a small batch but you could easily double or triple the recipe if you want lots of jam.
