Spring Cleanse Vegetable Juice

This alkalizing spring cleanse vegetable juice is full of vitamins and minerals in an assimilable form. This was the main part of my diet for years when I was unwell with Fibromyalgia as it was so easy to digest.

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 4-6 Romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 beet
  • 1/2 apple
  • 1-2 inches ginger root

Instructions

  • Scrub the organic carrots or peel the carrots if they are not organic.
  • Clean the rest of the vegetables, and wash & dry the Romaine lettuce.
  • In a juicer, juice the carrots, apple and beet.
  • Use the celery to help push the lettuce through the juicer.
  • Continue till all the vegetables are juiced.
  • Enjoy your glass of vegetable juice.

Note: Many of the ingredients in this spring cleanse vegetable juice are in the dirty dozen which means that if they are not organic you will be adding lots of chemical toxins to your body. This is not what we want to be doing when we are cleansing.
