Plum Crumble

This plum crumble is delicious and very healthy too because there is no white sugar in it. Also, it is extremely easy to make this dessert.

Ingredients

Crumble Base

  • 3 cups prune plums
  • 1/4 tsp liquid stevia
  • 1 Tbsp water

Crumble Topping

  • 3/4 cup brown rice flour
  • 2 cups oatmeal flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1/3 cup oil or coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup sucanat or coconut sugar ground
  • 1/2 tsp liquid stevia mixed in the 3 Tbsp water
  • 3 Tbsp water mix this with the stevia
  • 1/2 cup almonds

Instructions

Crumble Base

  • Remove the pits and slice the plums.
  • Place the stevia in the water.
  • Place the plums in a baking dish.
  • Mix the stevia mixture into the plums.

Crumble Topping

  • Mix the coconut oil, sucanat or coconut sugar, and stevia/water mixture together in a bowl.
  • Add the brown rice flour and the salt to the wet mixture.
  • Mix in well.
  • Add the oatmeal flakes and mix them in well.
  • Mix thoroughly with your fingers.
  • Sprinkle the crumble on top of the plum base.
  • Chop the almonds and sprinkle them on top.
  • Pat down firmly.
  • Bake at 350º F. in the oven for approximately 40 minutes.
