Carrot Salad with Sunflower Seeds
This carrot salad with black currants and sunflower seeds is especially unique and so tasty. Also, it is filling too.
- 3 carrots
- 1/4 cup black currants
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- Few Sprigs cilantro
- sesame seeds optional for garnish
Grate the carrots.
Finely chop the cilantro.
Lightly toast the sunflower seeds on a pan in the oven.
Put the grated carrots into a wide salad bowl.
Toss the salad with my Olive Oil Salad Dressing to taste.
Sprinkle, currants, cilantro, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds.
Serve and enjoy.
