Asparagus with Lemon Juice

If you like asparagus than you will enjoy this recipe with lemon.  You will love how easy it is to make this healthy recipe that is a delicious addition to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus spears
  • 1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • spike seasoning to taste

Instructions

  • Wash and trim the asparagus. Cut the asparagus diagonally into 2-inch lengths.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over low heat.
  • Add the asparagus, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add Spike seasoning to taste, stir, and cook an additional 1 minute.
  • Add the lemon juice, stir well and serve.
