Slowly stir in the arrowroot mixture int to the hot milk, stirring constantly.
Boil gently for 5 – 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Chop the walnuts.
Add the mashed bananas and walnuts.
Stir in the vanilla.
Serve the banana pudding warm or let it cool and serve.
