Peanut Butter Sauce with Garlic
gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian
garlic, peanut butter, sauce
peanut oil or coconut oil
crunchy peanut butter
tamari or soya sauce or 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
fresh lemon juice
Chop the onion finely.
Sauté onion and garlic in a pan until golden brown.
Add the ginger.
Mix together tamari or salt with 1 cup water.
Turn the heat down to low and add a half cup of water and the peanut butter.
Mixed well and when well mixed, add the rest of the water to the peanut butter mixture and mix.
Simmer for a few minutes.
Mix in lemon juice.
Serve on top of steamed vegetables.
Enjoy your peanut butter sauce.
Fun Optional Additions:
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped. A few drops of stevia or 1 tsp honey. Instead of ginger add basil.
