Lemon Water - Sugar Free Lemonade
Drinking lemon water is great for the whole body. Did you know that the most alkaline-forming food you can eat is a lemon? Here is a simple way to get some quick alkalizing going into your body with this refreshing drink.
- 1 Lemon
- 2-4 cups Water
- Stevia to taste
- fresh mint leaves optional
Wash the lemon well
Cut the lemon in half, horizontally.
Squeeze each half of a lemon and pour the juice into a small pitcher.
Add to 2 – 4 cups of water to the pitcher depending on how strong you like your lemonade.
The lemon juice can easily be diluted with more water according to taste.
Add a few drops of stevia to taste. Stir the stevia into the juice and water mixture.
Serve lemon water in a tall glass with a few sprigs of fresh mint.
