Smart Carbs or Dumb Carbs?

Smart carbs are basically fruits and vegetables (best are the green ones that grow above the ground like kale, dark leafy lettuce), beans (kidney beans, garbanzo beans), seeds (sunflower, pumpkin), nuts (almonds are best), whole grains (brown rice, millet, quinoa, buckwheat, whole wheat bread & pasta, multigrain cereal/bread, oatmeal and oat bran). Basically smart-carbs are complex carbohydrates. They are Powerfoods.
