This is a simple sauce to make that will add an extra delicious flavour to your desserts.


6 tbsp. arrowroot powder or Kuza
1 pint (2 cups) rice or almond milk*
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
1/4 tsp light liquid stevia


  1. Mix arrowroot powder or Kuza and milk in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly till thick.
  3. Add almond extract.
  4. Remove from heat and serve as a topping on fruit compote or a crumble or pie.

* Make your own as it is healthier.  Also you can use cow or goats milk
