Ingredients:

2 tablespoons almond oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups fresh or frozen green peas
6 mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
3 Tbsp water

Directions:

  1. Chop the onion.
  2. Mince the garlic.
  3. Slice the mushrooms.
  4. Heat the almond oil in a skillet over medium heat. For sautéing use Refined Almond Oil for its high smoke point.
  5. Sauté the mushrooms and onions till golden.
  6. Add the garlic and stir fry for a few more minutes.
  7. Mix in the water, spices and salt.
  8. Add the green peas.
  9. Cover and cook until the peas are tender, about 10 minutes.
  10. Serve with your main course.
